Back with ikat

I'm back, and how!
This is a first attempt on ikat pattern and I'm quite satisfied with the result.
Polishes I used:
Base coat: essence studio nails anti split nail sealer
Base color: Fly (OPI)
Ikat pattern: A-ha! Moment (Sephora by OPI)
                   Mellow Yellow (essence)
Topcoat: quick dry & high shine (catrice)
For the black I used acrilic paint.
So, what do you think?

Friendship Bracelets & Lucky Charms

Heya! Since it's summerbreak, I'm busy with things I won't really do in a normal week of school.  In the beginning of the summerbreak I started making friendship bracelets, just for fun. Here's a little 'tutorial' of one of my own creations with lucky charms. Hope you like it!

First, choose the colors you want to use. Play with different colors! Organise them as shown below:

You can make any bracelet you want. I chose the chevron for this one.

You can add the lucky charm whenever you want. In the beginning, at the end, in the middle... you can even add more than one. Just how you like it to be. I chose for the middle. Add the charm to the middle two strings.

Now knot the outer strings. You're supposed to get two separate strings. I hope the picture below is clear enough fot you to see.

When the two separate strings are long enough to go all the way down the charm, you knot them together with the two middle strings. You're supposed to get something like this:

Finish your bracelet when it fits you. Now you have your own cute little lucky friendship bracelet!
I hope this tutorial was useful and you like the result. Comment and tell me what you think!
